Jeremy Olander (Henry Saiz Remix)

Last year, Jeremy Olander unleashed his own four-track 'Taiga' EP which simultaneously served as the inaugural release on his novel imprint, Vivrant.

The Stockholm talent now hands the reigns over to four talented remixers, each of which claims responsibility to reinvent one of the four Olander originals off his 'Taiga' collection. The remix EP will serve as Vivrant's fourth release in only 10 months, a sign that the young imprint is well on its way to establishing itself as a rightful home for quality music.

Today, possibly the most anticipated of the reworks is with us here at Mixmag. Henry Saiz has taken on 'Roots' and infused the original with inspirations from classic trance tunes from the 90s.

In return for Jeremy's remix of Henry's own 'Afraid' track in 2014, the Spanish producer offers an enticing take on Olander's third track. Saiz's remix takes its sweet, suspenseful time to grow, progressively billowing into a cinematic and haunting version of itself, properly representing Henry's deep roots in sound design.

Henry Saiz is joined by Finnebassen, Jamie Stevens and Charlie Don't Surf for the 'Taiga' remix EP, which is out on Vivrant on September 30.
