James Donadio releases debut album as StabUdown Productions

It's been described as "a bittersweet kiss to chill-out room jungle and ambient techno"

Cleveland veteran James Donadio, aka Prostitutes, has shared his debut album as StabUdown Productions.

Titled ‘Strange Rabbits’, the album landed this week (February 8) on Powell's Diagonal Records, and has been described as “a bittersweet kiss to chill-out room jungle and ambient techno”.

It follows up an abundance of projects undertaken by Donadio under both his Prostitutes alias as well as his StabUdown moniker. Back in 2017, he revived StabUdown, releasing his 'Classic Slacker Anthems’ mixtape alongside a split EP with Kohler.

On his latest, Donadio’s is exploring “the wonder and sensuality of dance music’s beta stream” as he refracts, “80s NYC freestyle and European electronics via the prism of early jungle”.
