When he's not playing as part of Hot Natured or releasing via Jamie Jones' Hot Creations label, Lee Foss is keeping pretty busy running things over at his newly formed Repopulate Mars imprint.
The label's first release was a compilation that featured tracks from Sonny Fodera, 4th Measure Men, Eskuche & Nu Sky and Flavio Acaron and the second EP came from the house chunk-bringer Patrick Topping.
Both EPs launched the label in a serious way and now we see James Curd & Wiz do their best to bring the fire to Mars. The 'It's So Much Fun' EP features a remix from Foss himself and one from the Chicago don Felix Da Housecat.
Felix is one of those artists that we'll always have love for. He soundtracked the noughties and has continued to reinvent himself while always staying true to his sound.
His intergalactic, space-age remix has riffs that zap and vocals that are equal parts ominous and groove-inducing. If there's one thing Da Housecat is good at doing it's whipping any rhythm into shape and he's made this one entirely his own. Glorious.
'It's So Much Fun' will be released on July 29 via Repopulate Mars
