Jacques Renault - 7/10

Slo-mo disco here courtesy of Jacques Renault on the elusive Public Release label (only eight releases in six years). There's a slight Japanese flavour to the track, thanks to the the odd bells panned right in the mix. A chuggy arping synth and bassline provide the dancefloor electronics while some tribal warbling over the top adds some euphoria. We like the the mindless looping and rawness of production but on a large system you'll notice the mixdown isn't as tight as it could be.
