Isaac Tichauer

The Australian producer joins the Loft Records ranks

Not much is known about LOFT Records and a look at the label's website doesn't really reveal much either, other than it's a collaborative imprint from Bill Murray and Dan Ackroyd...

Whether two of America's most-lauded comedians are behind the label or not (we doubt it), so far there have been killer cuts and remixes from Citizenn, Ejeca, Nicholas and Dorsia.

For the third release, the LOFT crew have turned to Australian Isaac Tichauer and the French Express high-flyer has already impressed with his 'Devotion' LP alongside a series of a top notch EPs.

Today it's all about 'Street Lessons' and Tichauer has turned the mischief levels up to ten. Addictive riffs bounce with intent while warm chords and emotion-laced vocals soothe from the background, creating a track that works both on the floor and in your headphones.

LOFT Records is carefully building a sound for itself without big-name DJs at the helm and the result is something fresh and exciting. Expect big things.

The Street Lessons EP by Isaac Tichauer will be released on January 25 via Loft Records
