Sarah Lockhart’s Tempa put out its first release in 2000 and has represented the dubstep scene ever since (a press release the label sent out is responsible for coining ‘dubstep’). All of the genre’s greats have cut records for the label and it’s the home of iconic tracks like ‘Midnight Request Line’ and ‘Night’. It continues to champion new, bass-heavy talent today.
