Is NON Worldwide the Label Of The Decade? Vote now

Spanning from industrial and R&B sounds to South African gqom music, the NON Worldwide record label uses its unique sound art as a tool against the colonial structures and powers of the music industry and further afield. As a collective of African artists, founded by Chino Amobi, Melika Ngombe Kolongo and Angel Ho, the label creates “an inclusive space for NON-people” to oppose hegemonic norms. In 2015 NON released its first ever mix from Angel Ho titled ‘Death Drop From Heaven’ and followed this with the ‘NON Worldwide compilation Vol 1’. Further outings from the imprint include collaborations with Mexican collective N.A.A.F.I, a print publication titled ‘NON periodical’ and the creation of a feminist mixtape for art campaign MAMI.
