Ibiza Rocks House announce DJ Harvey residency
The residency at Pikes Hotel is a homage to the one and only Freddie Mercury
After much speculation, Ibiza Rocks House and Secret Life have announced that the superb DJ Harvey will be their Monday resident from July 13 to August 17.
For the residency which is entitled 'DJ Harvey is Mercury Rising', the DJ will be playing all night long at each party.
On the string of nights which are a nod to Freddie Mercury, DJ Harvey said:
"Once upon a time at Club Tropicana, Tony Pike, Grace Jones, Bianca Jagger and Freddie Mercury enjoyed their own grown-up playground at Pikes Hotel on the White Isle of Ibiza. They worshipped Tanit the goddess of love and worshipped the night away to music as exotic as their fantasies."
"Thirty years later and for those in the know, little has changed. Tony is still here and we still dance and love to a Balearic soundtrack. Freddie may be gone but his pleasure palace remains and every Monday at Ibiza Rocks House at Pikes from July 13 to August 17, DJ Harvey is Mercury Rising."
