Hyperdub's DJ Taye has announced the release date for his new album
'Still Trippin'' will be available at the beginning of next year
DJ Taye has announced his new album ‘Still Trippin’ will be released on March 2.
The album features Chuck Inglish rapping on lead track ‘Get It Jukin’ and Odile Myrtil’s vocals appear on ‘Same Sound’.
Taye reveals his ideas and sound for the album was inspired by the sudden passing of Teklife Crew founder, DJ Rashad.
He said: "When Rashad passed away I felt inspired to continue evolving the music that I loved so much coming up in this world. So, I had to do something… make something brand new.
“I took this as an opportunity to not have boundaries with footwork. Different approaches to our ‘underground’ sound to make it broader. It’s only underground until it crosses that threshold.”
