House legend Lil Louis drops six new albums with a grand showcase at Output

“Even if I can only hear with one ear, I’ll play twice as loud, so you can feel it…”

House music luminary Lil Louis is back with a vengeance and a mission: to “beat your ass with music”.

Best known for his hit 1989 track 'French Kiss' and pivotal role in the underground Chicago scene, Lil Louis is considered by many as the founding father of house music.

In 2015, an accident during soundcheck at Sankey's Manchester caused Lil Louis to sustain serious permanent damage to his left ear. An ice cannon blasting directly next to him resulted in the artist almost walking away from music for life.

Having spent seven years in the studio without releasing a single track, Lil Louis plans to release six albums back-to-back in 2018.

The legend proclaims: “Even if I can only hear with one ear, I’ll play twice as loud, so you can feel it…”

With showcases already in London, Paris, Glasgow, Kiev, and Chicago, the international tour plans to set down at Output (recently voted club of the year) in New York on November 16.
