Homework

Plush house from the Dutch duo

Through a string of releases on Exploited, 20:20 Vision and Wolf Music, Dutch duo Homework have singled themselves out as an act making lush, sunlit house sounds.

Tracks like 'Conquered Enemies', 2012's 'Confessing' and 'The Way I See It' are all killers. Layered with mint fresh pads, laced with slicing percussion and cutting synths, they're three pieces of illuminating music.

That's why New York label Let's Play House is a fitting home for the forthcoming 'Palindrome' EP. If you've listened to the snippet previews of all four tracks, you'll know there's another set of bumpin', plush pad cruisers on the way.

'Nonlinear Collapse' has been given to us to premiere in its fully glory and it definitely ranks high on the groove-o-meter. Wriggly and fidgety in places, the deft pads and soul-soaked vocals ensure its sprayed with sultry summer goodness.

The 'Palindrome' EP is released on June 8
