HARD's Day of the Dead Halloween event will not return in 2016

Annually, Gary Richards' HARD Events provides Southern Californian partygoers a worthy option around Halloween time with HARD Day of the Dead.

The two-day event traditionally features a line-up of hard-hitting DJs (last year's included Deadmau5, Skrillex, Nero, Gesaffelstein and dozens more) and welcomes attendees to dress in their most bizarre and celebratory costumes for the holiday.

Unfortunately, those waiting for a line-up or details about 2016's event need not hold their breath. HARD has confirmed that the Day of the Dead event will not take place this year.

Costs are being named as the reason for the cancellation. "HARD decided earlier in the year not to schedule it this year for production reasons. Preparing for two festivals at two new locations (HARD SUMMER and HARD Day of the Dead) so close together would have been too much of a strain on their resources."
