A dazzling rework from the Night Slugs don
Last year Hannah Lucia burst onto the scene with her debut single 'Lights Out' and she produced the track with Ben Bronfman, who's worked with the likes of Kanye West and M.I.A.
The song showcased Lucia's smooth, spell-binding vocals and got us all suitably excited for what she's going to bring next. Before she releases a new track however we've been treated to a new re-imagining of the song by Night Slugs don L-Vis 1990.
The Night Slugs crew are no strangers to taking sultry vocals and working them into a club frenzy as the likes of KIngdom, Bok Bok, Jam City, Girl Unit have all produced for Kelela and the results have been mesmerising.
L-Vis keeps Lucia's dulcet tones intact and adds funk-fuelled percussion, sleazy 80's melodies and a house groove that you can't help but roll your shoulders too. A great rework of an already brilliant track.
