Hannah Holland (Huxley remix)

Deep and dark from Huxley

Hannah Holland is one of London's finest selectors.

She can be seen playing regularly at hotspots like Fabric and Dance Tunnel and at Dalston Superstore where she holds a residency. Her tracks are on point, her mixing is tight and she exudes confidence with every set.

Her productions have always been super strong as well and her last release via Classic Music Company featured the amazing vocals of IMMA/MESS. Now come some stellar remixes and unsurprisingly, they bang.

Label daddy Luke Solomon turns-in an edit, as do Polish duo Catz 'n' Dogz but it's Huxley's edit of 'High' that we're really feeling. The house hero has been churning out an unstoppable amount of music over the last few years and has become our go-to when it comes to chunky, dancefloor-aimed rippers.

His remix of 'High' uses alien-like basslines that gurgle and shuffle from the off. The kicks are hard, the percussion is focused and the vocals are seductive. Expect this one to rumble through a soundsystem near you over the next few months.

Huxley's remix of 'High' will be released as part of Hannah Holland's 'Re-Werked' EP on May 2 via Classic Music Company
