Greg Sawyer - 8/10

We're huge fans of Greg's last mid-tempo house EP for Falk. He's such an expert at crafting deep, melodic, half-way house tracks.

Title track 'Home' sounds like a forlorn Red Axes with its driving bass, subtle pads, vocal chops and pristine production. 'Caedmon' boasts cinematic strings, a throbbing bassline and the kind of esoteric vibe that we've come to expect from Greg's productions. 'Misunderstood' is even more stripped back, with organic grooves under lush pads and piano, and vocal subtleties.

We would love to hear a long player from Greg next.
