More house brilliance from Mörk

Mörk is the sublabel that Lobster Theremin has been directing its most club-driven cuts to since its inception in 2014, with thumping offerings from producers such as Nthng and Raw M.T. featuring among its discography.

Next up the imprint is putting out its first full-length record ‘Cranks’, coming from Grant. The LA-based artist became acquainted with the Lobster family after signing his The Lauren Bacall label up to its distribution network, through which he purveys a brilliantly immersive strain of late-night, lo-fi house.

Lobster boss Jimmy Asquith has been understandably impressed with the output, and now locked Grant into his own outlet for an 11-track LP. It's packed full of richly-constructed ideas that target your body and mind simultaneously.

‘Around The Edge’ from the record exemplifies the sound that Lobster Theremin does best. The percussion rolls and fuzzy outer textures glow warmly, wrapped around a diva hook sample that anchors the track with emotional weight. Check it out below.

‘Cranks’ is out October 7, pre-order it here
