Grace Jones set to headline London's Afropunk Festival
The full list of names has also been announced
Afropunk, a new festival celebrating multiculturalism, has just announced the full line-up for the upcoming London event at Alexandra Palace on September 24.
Grace Jones (pictured) will now be headlining the festival instead of M.I.A., who was previously announced to top the bill.
In addition to the talent that was announced already, including SZA, Gaika, Benjamin Booker, Word Sound Power and others, the festival organisers have added Laura Mvula, Kwabs, The Noisettes, Loyle Carner, American hip hop artist Goldlink, Joe Kay, The Whooligan, Hannah Faith, Eden Hagos, MNEK, and Lady Leshurr.
The festival is also featuring a host of artists and food vendors, making for a unique festival experience that follows its 'power to the party' philosophy, which holds education, political awareness and self-empowerment as its key tenets.
