Gorillaz Spirit House allows fans to physically enter the band's virtual home
Taking place in NYC, Berlin and Amsterdam
The animated band Gorillaz have linked with Sonos to bring their world to life via an immersive experience dubbed the Gorillaz Spirit House.
Being able to physically explore the world of Murdoc Niccals, 2D, Noodle and Russel Hobbs, is something only previously imagined via the band’s videos, but now the industry leader in home sound systems is making that a reality.
Set to take place in NYC, Berlin and Amsterdam, Sonos has constructed unique spaces with its new PLAYBASE speakers that will showcase exclusive music and visuals through physical installations and projection mapping technology.
Songwriter and bassist Murdoc Niccals revealed a bit about what to expect: "Come and bathe in high-tech sound, feast on unearthly visuals, and let the experience take you on the ultimate trip”.
Sonos is celebrating the band's new album 'Humanz' with the Gorillaz Spirit House, which will take place in Brooklyn from April 21 – 23, Berlin from April 28 – 30, Amsterdam on May 6.
Entry to Gorillaz Spirit House is free, fans can register for access here
