Gorillaz launch Instagram account and website alluding to their album

Hype continues to build for the anticipated release

As fans eagerly await more information regarding their forthcoming album, Gorillaz have officially ushered in the next phase of the project by launching a new Instagram account and website.

Damon Albarn and Jamie Hewlett initially revealed the follow up to 2010s ‘The Fall’ was in the works back in October 2015 and have confirmed guest features with De La Soul, Snoop Dogg, composer Jean Michel-Jarre and Vic Mensa.

The rebranded website now simply presents the ‘Stylo’ music video featuring Bruce Willis, while the new Instagram account has been uploading content from Gorillaz's catalogue that seems to be arriving in chronological order, beginning with the release of their debut EP, ‘Tomorrow Comes Today’, released on Parlophone in 2000. This could mean they will share content from each phase of the project leading up to the release of the new album.

The album is slated to arrive sometime in 2017.
