Gorillaz and Snoop Dogg get destructive in 'Hollywood'
Gorillaz's sixth LP 'The Now Now' will be available on June 29
After revealing the news that their sixth studio album 'The Now Now' will be dropping on June 29 of this year, Gorillaz has been keeping themselves busy constructing a great deal of hype before the album's official release date. So far, the group has shared the album cuts 'Humility' (feat. George Benson), 'Lake Zurich' and 'Sorcererz' - all of which have received rave reviews.
Today, the extravagant and animated group bestow a new track from the forthcoming LP titled 'Hollywood' which features Jamie Principle and Snoop Dogg. In the track, Snoop Dogg raps and 2D (aka Damon Albarn) sings about the destructive and beguiling nature of Los Angeles, California.
As opposed to previous Gorillaz albums - which recruited a multitude of celebrated artists from across the music spectrum - both Benson and Snoop Dogg are the only two collaborators set to appear on the group's new LP.
