Google update offers more warnings when downloading music illegally

A revamped Safe Browsing tool is on hand to help

We don't like to steal music. But if you're somebody who does, Google's just enabled you to do it so much more safely.

You'll know all about the 'download here' or 'download now' buttons that smother the webpages of illegal downloading sites, but an update to Safe Browsing means Google's got your back more than ever.

Just in case one of these fake buttons does look genuine and you click on it expecting to get that prime zip file, Google will be on hand with extra warnings so there's less chance of your computer getting infested with all sorts of nastiness.
