Goldie awarded MBE in New Year Honours list
The Metalheadz don's recording, film and charity work has been recognised
In the 2016 New Year Honours list, drum 'n' bass producer Goldie has been awarded an MBE.
The man is seen as instrumental within the genre of drum 'n' bass, and thoroughly deserves his prestigious award for work in and outside of the industry.
On being named in the list, the producer made it clear that his work is not done yet:
"I turned 50 in September and I've always felt there's more work to do."
