Golden Pudel owners have "hope of rebuilding" club after fire

The weekend incident has been reported as arson

The owners of Golden Pudel are planning to rebuild the club after it caught on fire over the weekend.

Allegedly arson, the incident happened on Saturday night while 150 people were inside, although everyone escaped unhurt. Now, the team behind the Hamburg venue has released a statement, relating to the recent closure threat and post-fire plans.

It reads: "We, the Pudel and Park Fiction, would like to thank you from our hearts for your sympathies. The reaction in the past weeks and especially now after the fire has been massive.

"We have received messages of solidarity from Hamburg, the whole country, and from all over the world—along with ideas, visions and offers of help. All of this gives us courage and the hope of rebuilding the Pudel very soon. We hope to see you all soon at the club."

After a dispute between the club's two owners, an auction for the building was arranged for April 20.
