Glastonbury announce Novelist for the Sonic Stage
The rising grime star will perform on June 28, replacing Jess Glynne, who was forced to pull out last week
Glastonbury announced on Twitter earlier today that Novelist will play the Sonic Stage, on Sunday June 28, as the replacement for Jess Glynne. The latter was forced to pull out of the festival last week after being told that she requires vocal surgery.
Novelist was originally only set to perform with his '1 Sec' EP collaborator Mumdance, B2B with The Square, at midnight on the same day.
The Londoner will now take to the Sonic Stage at 6pm, and will no doubt bring his usual brand of fire to the last day of the festival.
Earlier this week Glastonbury also announced plans to make it possible for attendees to watch the Pyramid Stage whilst they sit on the loo.
