Get ready for a new EP from Burial and The Bug

The collaborative project is coming later this month

Burial and The Bug are releasing a new collaborative EP this month, titled ‘Flame 1’.

News of the project broke after pre-order links appeared on selected online music retailers, with the EP landing via a brand new imprint Pressure. 'Flame 1' is set to consist of two tracks, ‘Fog’ and ‘Shrine’.

Despite both releasing material on Hyperdub over the years, ‘Flame 1’ will mark the first collaboration between the two revered UK artists.

‘Flame 1’ is scheduled for release towards the end of March. It follows up a rather active year for Burial, who released a pair of EP’s for Nonplus and Hyperdub back in 2017, alongside a Record Store Day remix of Goldie’s ‘Inner City Life’. For The Bug, the new EP follows up his successful 2017 collaborative project with Earth ‘Concrete Desert’, as well as a 12” release on Ninja Tune.
