Function/Inland

'Colwyn Bay' is a beautiful 11-minute-epic

Infrastructure New York is the imprint founded and directed by Function and ever since the label started back in 1998, it's put out some of the best techno in the game. The label is managed by Ed Davenport aka Inland and the two have come together for a brand new track.

Although mainly an outlet for Function's own music, the label took a break in 2004 and when it returned in 2014, it released EPs from Campbell Irvine, Trackman and Cassegrain & Tin Man.

Now comes an incredible new compilation called 'Facticity' and the list of artists on board is pretty astonishing. The likes of Efdemin, Silent Servant, Rrose, Vatican Shadow and Campbell Irvine all appear and it's one of the best collections of music we've heard in a long time.

Talking about the 4x12" inch release, label boss Function said:

''The origins of the comp stem from taking stock on things since we relaunched the label, so to speak. The intentions were to create a compilation that read more like an album, involving not only the current core group of artists but also connecting dots between the label's past, last year's Berghain 07 mix, Sandwell District and our respective histories.''

We've got the premiere of Function and Inland's collaborative track 'Colwyn Bay' and it's a beautiful 11-minute-epic that's worth every second of your time. Check it out below

*'Facticity**' will be released on June 3 via Infrastructure New York*
