Four Tet samples Mazzy Star on new single, ‘Into Dust (Still Falling)’
The new release is out now on XL Recordings
Four Tet has released a brand new single on XL Recordings sampling Mazzy Star’s 1993 track ‘Into Dust’, which first appeared on their acclaimed second album ‘So Tonight That I Might See’.
The single landed yesterday, June 17, titled ‘Into Dust (Still Falling)’. The track has long been teased by Four Tet at his shows across the globe, becoming somewhat of a fan favourite during his recent performances.

The new single also lands alongside a limited edition 12” vinyl and an “exclusive” screen printed T-shirt, which features the record’s album cover on the front.
Mazzy Star’s ‘Into Dust’ was never released as a single, though the song charted twice in the UK Singles Chart after release, and again in 2009 – some 15 years on from the album's release – after appearing in a television advert.
Four Tet is set to perform at Glastonbury Festival next week, and will return to Alexandra Palace this autumn with show across two dates on November 21 and 22.
