Former London afterparty venue being sold for £1 million

The East London space used to be Public Life

A disused public toilet in London, formerly the Public Life nightclub, is up for sale at the price of £1 million.

Located in Spitalfields in East London, its use as a club ended in 2012 after having its license revoked for drug-related offences and it's now being presented on the market as "unique, charming and quirky".

As Public Life, the venue hosted Saturday and Sunday afterparties Lost Souls Techno Club and Kubicle, with DJs such as Rossko, Dyed Soundorom, Jamie Jones and Perc playing.

Measuring at around 600 square foot, the Guardian reports the space is about the same size as a modern one-bedroom flat in London.

If you're looking to acquire a new premises, or just fancy having a look at the space, you can check out the listing on Clarke & Lloyd's website.
