Forever (Mr G Remix)

Watch out, the G's at it again

When we went to Glastonbury this year, the music was naturally of a very high standard but one set that stood out in particular came from the enigmatic god that is Mr G.

His set at Genosys was a hellish blend of rugged house and tone-laden techno and one that he performed with an exuberant amount of energy and flare. Rarely was he stood still, in fact he was jumping and twirling in the air like a ballerina on acid.

His latest venture sees him remix Forever's debut track on high-flying imprint Grade 10 International. Powered by a policy that offers ‘consistently good music and art with no gimmicks.’, the label has impressed since it launched last May.

The 'Coarse' EP may well be some of the label's most accomplished and well-rounded music to date and Mr G's Gesture Remix of 'Coarse' takes us right back to that muddy field in Pilton where the energy was high and the vibes were fiery.

The remix centres around a wriggling and pulsating riff that's backed by sharp claps, snappy cymbals and of course a classic, pumping Mr G kick. We all knew this would be a belter from Colin McBean but it's Grade 10 that we're really excited about. Keep your focus locked to this crew.

The 'Coarse' EP by Forever will be released via Grade 10 International on July 15
