Flying Lotus makes his debut as a director at Sundance with 'Royal'
Also known by his filmmaker name 'steve'
Los Angeles will play home to Sundance NEXT FEST, an offset of the renowned film festival's flagship edition, which will take place in downtown LA from August 12 to 14.
Sundance NEXT FEST will also serve as the exciting directorial debut for Flying Lotus, a celebrated producer in his own right who now hopes to spread his filmmaking name 'steve' (specifically in lower case) with the premiere of his short film Royal.
Though Flying Lotus makes his debut as a director this time around, it isn't his first brush with Sundance. Last year, FlyLo offered his talents for the score for Fuckkkyouuu, which you can watch here.
