Flume taps Vince Staples for his latest, 'Smoke & Retribution'
The Australian output delivers another single from 'Skin'
Harley Streten has done a fantastic job of building the anticipation behind his forthcoming album 'Skin', which remains dateless, but is set to land sometime in 2016.
After releasing a promising mini-mix and following up with the first single 'Never Be Like You', he's now ready to reveal a new flavor he'll be introducing on 'Skin' in the form of a new track in collaboration with rapper Vince Staples and Australia's Kučka.
'Smoke & Retribution' found a first world premiere play on Zane Lowe's Beats 1 show and showcases the raw, but sensical way that Flume's future bass melodies match with the dichotomy of Vince's harsh rap verses and Kučka's ethereal vocals.
