Flume shares new music with a Greenpeace campaign for the Great Barrier Reef

Bringing attention to the natural wonder

Australian native Flume has teamed up with environmental protection organization Greenpeace for a new video focusing on the Great Barrier Reef, the world's largest coral reef off the coast of Queensland.

Recent reports suggest that the natural treasure has been deeply affected by global warming - specifically, overheated sea water - which has led to large sections of the reef dying off. Covered extensively by global press and media, Flume is now also championing exposure for the Great Barrier Reef's dire state with Greenpeace, bringing further attention to the matter by pairing never-before-heard music with a promotional video.

The video whips through serene shots of the reef and its accompanying array of colorful sea creatures, splicing in distressing shots of global pollution causes like oil rigs.

"Enjoy these previously unreleased sounds in collaboration with Greenpeace Australia Pacific," Flume writes about the video. "This is important!"
