FL Studio Is Coming To Mac In 2015
Work is underway for the DAW, formerly Fruity Loops, to become available as a native application for Mac OS X
FL Studio 12, the next version of the DAW software, will be available on Mac.
Formerly only available for Windows users, meaning Mac owners had to use utilities such as Boot Camp and Parallels Desktop, the company has confirmed it will no longer be a PC-only program as of next year.
Image-Line, developers of the software, gave a statement to Attack Magazine, detailing the work that's taking place.
"The plugin testing is progressing nicely, and so the team has turned their attention to FL Studio 12 itself. It's a long and slow process and we can't make any promises, since we may come across unexpected and or unsolvable technical problems. But work is indeed under way."
While they are working out the challenges they have reassured that development for Mac OS X will have no impact on the development of the software for Windows as the teams are completely independent of each other.
