Feel 'Alive' with Folamour's latest single

It's been a highly-demanded record from his sets

Folamour has shared his latest track: atmospheric house cut ‘Alive’.

Packed with groove-laden beats and a rejuvenating energy, the track has already been showcased by the artist during his international tour in big rooms and intimate venues alike and built a great deal of anticipation for its release.

In what is perhaps becoming a regular occurrence for Folamour, ‘Alive’ deviates from the use of samples and instead opting for writing and recording his own vocals for the track. Combined with live instrumentation, and underlaid by soaring chords and rhythmic percussion, it intends to showcase the French artist’s musical capabilities.

“Alive is a special song to me,” says Folamour on the single. “I wrote it as a declaration of love to everyone supporting me on my journey, giving energy to the movement we’re all part of, to the beauty of this love we share. I always dreamed of creating music that was emotional but danceable. I think I achieved it better than ever before on this one, writing and recording orchestral strings, live piano and blending these with electronic drums and bass brought that feeling and idea I had in mind to life.

“I’ve been playing it for a few months already and I can feel the atmosphere in the room changing, every time. I can’t wait for more people to be taken on this journey.”

The artist’s use of live instrumentation is unsurprising, given his upbringing playing drums, bass, guitar and percussion before working on projects spanning from pop to jazz music which ultimately resulted into turning his hand to house music.
