Fania launches the Fania Collective to showcase diverse DJ collaborations

Dave Nada, El Dusty and more join forces with the prolific label

Celebrated Miami-based label Fania is welcoming the debut of their brand new project, the Fania Collective. The label, known for its roots and pioneering efforts with Latin music stars, aims to shine light on diverse and outstanding DJ collaborations with the Fania Collective, made up of a group of hand-picked DJ and producer ambassadors.

The Fania Collective's "first wave" consists of DJs from several different regions including Latin and Afro-house authority Jose Marquez, the inventor of moombahton Dave Nada, DJ Turmix of NYC and Texas' El Dusty.

The Collective will showcase collaborations from the diverse artists, highlighting their respective genres with new releases and remixes of the Fania catalogue, a new mixtape series and other performances and media releases.

“I’m beyond excited to be involved with the Fania Collective," Dave Nada said. "I grew up on the label and the music has influenced me throughout my entire musical career. As a DJ, producer and a fan, I look forward to diving into their vast catalog of timeless music. It’ll be an honor to contribute to the Fania sound and legacy.”
