Fabric announces Women Shaping Tomorrow series in collaboration with Smirnoff
The Farringdon venue is looking to address gender imbalance
Fabric has announced a series of free Women Shaping Tomorrow events in collaboration with Smirnoff.
The events, which are part of the Equalising Music initiative, will be held on May 2, 3 and 4 at the Farringdon club and will encompass workshops, talks and networking opportunities.
Kirsti Weir, the Communications & Project Manager at fabric, said: “From the DJ booth to the boardroom, our workshops at fabric will open doors for aspiring female talent looking to cross the gender divide."
Opportunities on offer at the sessions include a chance to DJ on a Smirnoff House UK festival stage this summer, shadow the fabric team at work, shadow Kate Simko's Electric London Orchestra at Battersea Arts Centre on May 6, or even attend the International Music Summit in Ibiza from May 24 to 26.
