Experimental rapper Brother May drops ‘In For The Kill’ video
This is the lead single off his debut album ‘Aura type Orange’
Brother May has just released the video for his lead single, ‘In For The Kill’, off of his debut album, ‘Aura type Orange’.
The single is an experimental release and the video is no less original. The video serves as "a visual metaphor about doing the work. In preparation for when opportunity is presented. It’s the 10,000 hours and being ready. Our own Emcee training tutorial video. An emotional and mental boot camp…. but nestled in a lot of togetherness, love, compassion.’
The video was directed by Crack Stevens, who has also directed music videos for Blood Orange and Neneh Cherry.
The release rides off the back of May’s recent success after opening up for artists like Arca and Mount Kimbie.
May’s debut album ‘Aura Type Orange’, produced by Mica Levi and co-produced by May, Coby Sey, and Rob McCormack, was released on June 28.
