Spring has sprung here in the UK but Larry B might not know it – he's been tucked away in an Elephant and Castle bedroom, with the lights turned real, real low, making intimate, DIY r'n'b.

It's the first offering from the low-key Londoner since '8 Tunes By Larry B'. While that drop was a skewed stew of heavy low-end and warped pop culture references, '5 Sad Songs' is straight-up heart-wrenching songwriting and the best music that Larry, in between DJ gigs across the capital's underground, has produced yet. The deepest cut might just be 'Hit It Right', which'll give you goosebumps within 4 seconds, guaranteed.
