Eric Prydz shares details for charity show in honour of James Lillo
All proceeds will go to the Cancer Research Institute
A week ago, news broke about a Eric Prydz helping to make one of his biggest fan's dreams come true by planning an exclusive show held specifically for his fan, James Lillo, who was unable to attend EPIC 5.0 due to his battle with stage four cancer. The show's proceeds were to be donated to a charity of Lillo's choice, the Cancer Research Institute.
Sadly, though, the Prydz team had put the wheels in motion to make the show happen as quickly as possible in Los Angeles, James passed away earlier this week.
"His battle and story have affected me deeply," Prydz wrote. "Now more than ever I wish to play this event to raise money for his charity and honor his memory."
With the blessing of Lillo's family, the show will go on and all ticket sales will be donated to the Cancer Research Institute, as James had requested. The show will take place on December 17 at Sound Nightclub in Hollywood. Tickets are available here.
For those who cannot attend, a donation page in Lillo's name has been set up. Find more information and donate here.
