Endgame launches new label Precious Metals with first release from Severin Glance

'Caveat' is Severin Glance's debut release

Endgame has launched his own record label, Precious Metals.

The imprint takes the name of the DJ/producer's long-running NTS show and will be a continuation of his forward-thinking approach to club music and unearthing new talent.

The Precious Metals radio show consistently provides a platform for new artists making imaginative electronic music and the label looks set to do the same, with its first release coming from South London's Severin Glance (pictured above).

'Caveat' marks Severin Glance's debut release, a four-track journey into oceanic sub-bass and ghostly melody that is out now via the Precious Metals Bandcamp.

Some of the inspiration for the EP came from Severin Glance's memories of growing up in Florida and being exposed to music culture there: "Spent out cars with big rims that hold huge systems played the harder songs; showing off the low ends of the subs. 'All We Do' by Jeezy was playing in one of those systems outside a gas station. It was so blown out all I could hear was the bass and vocal sample playing. It sounded so different–it changed the way I looked at songs.”

Ever the club music agitator, Endgame released a collaborative EP with DÆMON late last month on Infinite Machine. He'll be putting out his first outing on Precious Metals soon too.
