Electro duo Synapson release new single, ‘Stand Tall’

The track dropped on Friday

French electro duo Synapson have released their new single, ‘Stand Tall’.

‘Stand Tall’ is a neo-soul, groove infused track with vocals provided by Canadian singer Dominique Fils-Aimé.

The tune sees deep house inspired drum patterns and melodic guitar elements, with Fils-Aimé’s vocals focusing on themes of hope and change.

On the release, Synapson explain: “When we listened to Dominique’s album, we really liked the intensity of "Tall Lion Down", an Interlude. We immediately imagined what our musical production could bring to her calm and powerful voice.

“It was by accident that we came across an interview of Dominique which echoed the theme of the track, so it seemed natural to us to add it to the song.”

Synapson consists of multi-instrumentalists Alexandre Chiere and Paul Cucuron. Between them, their musical ventures span keyboard, saxophone, beat, vocals, scratch, drums, production and mixing.

First formed in 2009, the aim of the pair’s musical endeavour was to create a “mix of atmosphere” via blending jazz and rap with soul melodies, and deep house.
