Ed Sheeran is going to be in The Simpsons
Playing Brendan, a heartthrob for Lisa
Ed Sheeran's acting career is a very real thing. After his cameo in Game Of Thrones, he's announced his next TV venture.
The Simpsons will get the Sheeran treatment next as the singer is set to voice a musician in a musical-themed special of the show titled 'Haw-Haw Land'.
He'll play a character called Brendan who becomes a love interest for Lisa, according to Entertainment Weekly. Executive producer Al Jean said: “He keeps alternating [between], ‘You’re not that great, but you could be fantastic,’ and she keeps falling for him because of his talent."
Nelson and Millhouse aren't too happy with his introduction, the former trying, and seemingly failing, to win Lisa's heart by singing The Drifters' 'Save The Last Dance For Me'.
Sheeran removed himself from Twitter recently due to people "saying mean things". Now his account has been completely deleted after his appearance in GoT received mixed reviews.
