Drake, Nadia Rose and Kano win MOBOs 2016

It was a successful evening for The MOBOs this year

Last night The MOBO Awards took place in Glasgow's SSE Hydro to celebrate music of black origin from the UK and internationally.

During the evening, Chip won 'Best Grime Act', Drake took home 'Best International Act', Nadia Rose won 'Best Video', Section Boyz won 'Best Hip Hop Act', and Kano won 'Best Album', beating Mercury-Prize winner Skepta.

R'n'b act WSTRN were wrongly given the 'Best Song' award before it was handed over to MC Abra Cadabra. However, the trio were awarded with 'Best Newcomer' later on in the night.

The MOBO organisers claimed that the error was due to a "production error", and in a statement said: "Of the many worthy winners of best song, we deeply regret a mistake was made".
