A new posthumous DMX track ‘Hood Blues’ is out now
The single features Benny the Butcher, Conway the Machine and Westside Gunn
DMX, the rapper who sadly passed away this April, has had a second song called 'Hood Blues' posthumously released.
Def Jam Recordings are putting out the release and the track was produced by Swizz Beats and features a verse from Benny the Butcher, alongside Conway the Machine and Westside Gunn.

DMX, born Earl Simmons, passed away on April 9th at 50. The posthumously released studio album ‘Exodus’ is released on Friday May 28. The track ‘Been to War’ another single, was released just a few days after his passing.

The track opens with Westside Gunn’s verse where he raps, “I’m in the hood, 80 K house, million dollar net.” While DMX’s verse closes out the song: “I grew up at the dark side, apartheid/Where goin’ against the grain will get you kidnapped and hogtied.”
The rapper's legacy continues on with the posthumous release.
