DJ Q steps up to the plate for 'FABRICLIVE 99'
The rowdy mix is packed with exclusives across bassline, UK garage and beyond
UK producer DJ Q is taking on the next edition of the FABRICLIVE series, dropping July 20.
Packing the 32-track mix with no less than 31 exclusives from the likes of Todd Edwards, Royal-T, Flava D, Jack Junior and Swindle, not to mention 15 of his own productions, DJ Q has dug deep into his studio and called on his connections to represent the here and now of bassline.
After six years on BBC Radio 1Xtra, a ruthless touring schedule and representing TQD alongside Royal-T and Flava D on the Radio 1 Residency, DJ Q’s speedy and energy-driven style on the mix will be familiar to all fans of the genre.
In a press release DJ Q said: “Putting together this mix was really fun. I made a lot of the music myself and with other musicians I’m close to. By listening to the mix you will get a good idea of the sort of sounds I enjoy playing and making. There’s straight bassline on there, UK garage influenced stuff, bumpy 4x4 bits and everything else”.
