DJ Phats announces ‘I’m Back’ on new album

The 12-track LP from the Dance Mania alumni features a DJ Deeon remix

DJ Phats is releasing a new album titled ‘I’m Back’ via Phats Music Box on June 6.

The LP sees the Chicago artist serving up 12 steamy ghetto house, juke and footwork heaters, including a bonus remix from the late DJ Deeon to close out the tracklist.

DJ Phats has been active since the '90s with releases across labels such as Dance Mania, Afrocuts and Sugar Daddy Records, forming a notable partnership with DJ Skip.

The record release coincides with 30 years of ghetto house celebrations, with DJ Phats recently playing at Dance Mania and Viva Acid’s anniversary event in Chicago alongside artists such as DJ Slugo, DJ Clent, DJ Milton, Traxman and Jana Rush.
