DJ Harvey will have a residency at Berghain and Paris club Concrete

He's going worldwide this spring

DJ Harvey's schedule this spring will include residencies at some of the world's best clubs.

He'll return to London superclub Ministry of Sound on April 8, before heading to Berghain on April 14. He then visits Concrete in Paris (April 22), De Marktkantine in Amsterdam (April 26), Lux Fragil in Lisbon (April 29) and Output, New York (May 12).

More dates will be confirmed, with him due to play three times at each club for the remainder of the year.

Harvey says: "In many respects, it's scratching the surface, but all these places have good soundsystems and they'll allow me to express myself in the right way. I basically said to myself, if it doesn't have a DJ booth, I'm not going to play there this year.

"All the sets I'll be playing are between six and eight hours. Beyond eight hours you're getting into extreme DJing, but if the energy is flowing in the room, if I'm getting positive vibes back from the people supplying me with the cosmic energy to carry on, there's no reason why I couldn't DJ for days on end."

His spring schedule also includes sets at Electron in Genève and Goa Club in Rome.
