DJ Fast Eddie - 8/10

Super Rhythm Trax have pulled off quite a coup by getting an EP from Fast Eddie.

These are remasters of extremely rare 90s tracks that had only previously been released on very limited vinyl. There's also a remastering of his genre-defining 'Hip House', too, which expertly melts house and hip hop to give that raw New York feel.

These tracks don't sound retro, but actually quite current: 'My Melody' could be classic Mr Fingers with its piano licks and Roland drums, while both 'Keep On Dancing' and 'Clap Your Hands' lean more on analogue groove and acid stylings.

We're delighted that these unearthed tracks are being given another kick of the ball.
