Dixon and Âme at the controls for first X Series Essential Mix of 2016

BBC has announced the first X Series Essential Mix of 2016 will air on April 2.

Innervisions honchos Dixon and Âme are stepping up for the next instalment of the run of broadcasts that features studio mixes from DJs playing back-to-back.

Both have taken charge of an Essential Mix each in the past (Âme back in 2006 and Dixon more recently in 2013) with mindblowing results, so a joining of forces is an exciting prospect.
