​Dixie Chicks singer accidentally gets tattoo of Bassnectar's logo

Natalie Maines, the lead singer of The Dixie Chicks, accidentally got a tattoo of Bassnectar’s logo on her big toe.

After getting the tattoo, Maines took to Instagram to share her excitement for her new ink: “Never get a tattoo on a toe. It’s the most painful place to get a tattoo. Just the worst. But thanks to [Kirsten Holliday] for the pain. It was totally worth it.”

According to Live For Live Music, Maines apparently thought the design was the ancient Greek symbol for strength, but it is in fact Bassnectar’s “bassdrop” symbol. Now she’s officially part of the Basshead Fam.
